When I was asked to moderate a panel on free, independent, regional media at the Engaged Democracy Initiative conference in Belgrade, I found myself experiencing a mix of excitement and concern
I am happy to inform you that our first edition of Timok Digital has been successfully realized in Zaječar last week. The Timok Digital Media Digitization Workshop was a four day workshop (August 22-25, 2023) in Zaječar, Serbia designed to bring archivists, cultural workers, and community members together to strengthen media preservation efforts in the region

On the other hand, most respondents (69.4%) said that they had formed their opinions on the extent of corruption through print and electronic media. Furthermore, 27.2% of respondents declared that conversations with relatives and friends shaped the basis of their views regarding the extent of corruption
We organized the press conference and boosted our invitation on our web page and on social media on 17.9.2023. After a month, and 30.000 post reach on Facebook, only 10 volunteers responded, which led us to conclusion that there is not enough healthy adults to participate in this study, which is alarming indicator of the urgent need to act, confirming our assumption that health impact is catastrophic
